Coming from Hull I consider myself a fish and chip efficianado. I always considered the chip shops, especially Bob Carvers in the Market place, in Hull to be unbeatable. Grimsby Fisheries are the only fish and chips outside of Hull that are as good. The fish is so fresh it just falls off the skin and the chips are cooked in a way that takes some beating.
