"Don't hold your breath."

I had been in a holding que for a little over 20 minutes, and the recorded voice kept repeating that they were experiencing a high number of calls, (dialling the 0800 number) when I hung up. I then telephone the main St.Peters clinic and was told the clinic was closed for the afternoon. Would it not be more professional and user friendly for the message to say that it was closed rather than leaving people frustrated and annoyed! .
