Had a problem starting my car, took it in and they instantly priced up a starter motor, said they would get an electrician to look at it at a cost of £50 just to look at the electrics. Told me the electrics were fine and that I needed a new starter motor at a total cost of £300. Did not trust their diognosis so refused to let them do the work and took it to another garage. Turned out they the starter motor was fine, the earth strap on the battery had corroded, that is all. I paid £70 for them to charge the battery and for them tell me it needed a new starter motor when that was not the case. Cowboys.
