"Some like it cool!"

The sensible temperature of the water is the main thing which makes me keep coming back to Wigston pool. Some pools have a water temperature which makes it really hard going for anyone wanting a proper swim. You come out feeling exhausted and cranky with the heat. Not so at Wigston.

I've been coming here for some years. There is certainly room for improvement, though: the shower area is grubby, and people tend not to bother showering before entering the pool. There is no footbath (detergent). You also have to plan carefully to avoid the times when the place is heaving with kids. Otherwise: my favorite pool!.
