"Disapointed with sally's beoumont leys leicester"

Went into sally's saturday 22/03/14 picked up a 1 ltr bottle of peroxide when i got to the till to pay was asked if i had a sally's card as with out one they couldn't sell this to me but could let me have the smaller bottle.There is no signage to say trade only.whats the point of having a shop in a shopping centre and not selling products to the public,have looked at the online site and you can purchase the said item.is this a case of poor staff at beaumont leys branch or is it a poorly run company.
