"A very welcoming place"

After months of debating, i finally visited the spiritualist church and what a wonderful experience it was. we sang 2 songs, said a prayer and then a lady medium stood up and delivered messages to people from loved ones who had passed over to the spirit world. Although I didnt get a message it was still an emotional night. after we heard from the medium who was very good and also made us feel at ease with her warmth, we said another prayer and sang another song. For those people who are nervous about going along for the first time, dont be nervous, it is a very welcoming place with friendly faces. The hymns were more like songs than the usual hymns you would sing in church. There was also refreshments and a raffle. They ask for donations but it isnt compulsory. overall i had a wonderful experience and will be returning next tuesday and every tuesday thereafter..
