"NEW BATTERY ONLY LASTED 17 MONTHS"

I purchsed a new battery for my motorcycle and paid a little over the odds thinking exide was a good make and from a local supplier as i like to support local businesses,after 17 months this battery is useless even though i have kept on optimate battery conditioner, I was told when contacting them about this it should last between 3 and 5 years this lasted only 17 months and was told only g teed for one year,would never buy from these again and would recomend any of my biker mates to steer clear and not buy form these..
