I visited MPC Motorcycles, operated by Mick Cross, regarding the rental of a motorcycle and sidecar, that being a type of vehicle of which I already had many years of driving experience. He advertised that motorcycle & sidecar combinations were available for rental. No fixed scale of charges was available. When visiting there and after lengthy discussion he wanted to charge an outrageous fee for the rental of a motorcycle and sidecar for one weekend without any insurance provided or available, insisting that I would have to arrange that separately for myself beforehand. Despite his advertisements he was clearly not geared up to be able provide a rental service, professionally or otherwise.

When he realised that I wasn't going to fall for his off the cuff 'rental' he tried to sell me a very old rusty wreck of an obscure Russian sidecar, without any fittings, also for an outrageous price.

I ended up buying a sidecar elsewhere and fitted it to my own motorcycle, the total price being lower than he wanted for 1 weekend rental.

Mick Cross is an arrogant, unprofessional scheister. I'm glad I did not do business with him. I would recommend that nobody does..
