"Extremely helpful"

I called the office today to try to trace a missing parcel for one of our customers and the person I spoke to took the trouble to go and find the parcel, to call me back and apologise that it had been missed from today's delivery and then to offer to call the customer directly to arrange either for her to collect the parcel or for it to be delivered to her tomorrow. Although it was a shame that it missed the delivery today (the usual postman was off sick and the covering postman missed the parcel) they then did all that they could to sort the mistake out. I think that was excellent customer service..
