"Barclays stole my money!"

I am a Barclays pensioner living in New Zealand. I received a letter in August advising that the bank is closing some overseas accounts but not to do anything yet as the bank would be in touch *if* my account is involved. No further communication from the bank. Then I received a letter from the Pension people advising me that my pension payment had been returned due to my account having been closed. I then sent the necessary forms (certified) in early November but have had no respose at all. It is impossible to contact them other than by letter as trying to phone only goes into a long, long wait which, from overseas, is expensive.

The bank suggests using their app to contact them but to do that I need to use my Pin Sentry device, which has been disabled! What a way to treat one's pensioners!

If anyone in Barclays Leicester LE7 2BB sees this, please pull your finger out and do something!

Fortunately the pension people are far more on the ball as my pension is now being paid into an alternative bank.
